ADHD Lifecourse Lab at the 10th World Congress on ADHD

Our team attended the 10th World Congress on ADHD in Prague last week — a brilliant few days of learning, sharing, and connecting with researchers from around the world.

We’re especially proud of Tom and Amandine, who presented their research posters during the conference. Both sparked engaging discussions and represented the lab with thoughtfulness and enthusiasm — well done both!

Our team had a fantastic time in Nottingham at a 'Hidden in Plainsight' conference, co-organized by our lab lead Dr Jessica Agnew-Blais! It was a huge success—insightful talks, engaging discussions, and a great opportunity to connect with other researchers and clinicians in the field. Big thanks to the speakers, attendees, and Dr Blandine French and Michelle Beckett for such a great event!

Huge congratulations to Anna Paul!

Our PhD student, Anna Paul, has been awarded a £3,300 postgraduate research grant by the 'Academic Forum for the Study of Gambling'. This funding will support her upcoming project, which investigates whether genetic risk for various mental health disorders can predict problem gambling.

Understanding how mental health disorders contribute to problem gambling risk could guide targeted interventions and highlight shared mechanisms, like impulsivity, that can be addressed to reduce gambling-related harms.

Very well done, Anna—congratulations on this exciting achievement!
